Laptop & Tablet Requirement/Specifications



Given that some of the courses at Africa International University are offered through the blended mode of learning (in class and ODEL), it has become a requirement that each student must have either a laptop or a tablet for the online classes.

Below are recommendations on the specification of the device that students can acquire:

      • Operating System (OS): Windows 10 x 64bit activated
      • RAM: 4GB / 8GB
      • Hard Disk (HDD): 320GB / 500GB
      • Wireless networking adapter (for internet): Supports 802.11 b/g/n
      • Have the following Input/ Output (I/O) Devices: 2 x USB Ports, VGA/HDMI Port, Inbuilt Webcam, speakers & microphone
      • Application Software: Microsoft Office (as a student you get a free Microsoft Office 365 Installation), Adobe Reader, valid Antivirus software
      • One year warranty (recommended)
